The GST and land act reforms have now been pushed back to Parliament’s winter session. The Joint Committee on the Land Bill has sought more time to finalise its report & even the constitutional amendment for GST has faced a similar fate. Rajyasabha MP & GST Panel Member - Rajeev Chandrasekhar spoke exclusively to ET NOW’s Taneia Bhardwaj saying that one can hope for passage of GST bill till the last day of the session. He thinks that the disruptive behaviour of Congress may not allow the GST Bill to be passed, and Congress requires an awakening of conscience.
